Getting here

We recommend you to use the means of public transport. On Schweibenalp there are limited parking places and in winter there are snow chains needed.

By Public Transport

Train routes via Luzern or Bern to Brienz. Take the post bus from the Brienz train station in the direction “Axalp” to bus station “Bramisegg”. Travel routes and schedules at the webpage: www.sbb.ch

Upon request we can offer free pick-up ride from the bus station “Bramisegg”. By foot the road goes through the forest for about 800 m (approx. 15 min).

For a taxi pick-up from the Brienz train station the fee is CHF 35.- per person. Please make your request early on.

By Car

Highway exit A8 Brienz/Giessbach/Axalp, then take the direction Axalp up the mountain until “Bramisegg” Restaurant. Drive right through the forest for about 800m. At the intersection stay on the right.
